By car from Oslo
- Follow E6 northwards towards Kløfta.
- When you reach Kløfta, take the E16 towards Kongsvinger.
- Follow E16 through Skarnes.
- Leave the road at the point where it expands from two to four lanes, onto Rv09.
- Follow Rv209 until you see a sign reading "Østmosætra" on your right hand side.
- Drive about 8km along this road, called "Østmosætervegen" (there is a manuel toll), until you reach "Krokmyra".
- From Krokmyra, you follow the old cattle road on foot, a 1-1,5 hours walk in the woods. The hiking track is clearly marked out from Krokmyra.
By car from Kongsvinger
- Follow E16 towards Oslo.
- Take the exit onto Rv209, towards "Mo" and "Slomarka".
- Follow Rv209 until you see a sign reading "Østmosætra" on your right hand side.
- Drive about 8km along this road, called "Østmosætervegen" (there is a manuel toll), until you reach "Krokmyra".
- From Krokmyra, you follow the old cattle road on foot, a 1-1,5 hours walk in the woods. The hiking track is clearly marked out from Krokmyra.
